Session Fees

My current session fee is $280 for a standard 50 minute therapy session. This is below the current Australian Psychological Society recommended fee of $300. Fees may increase yearly in line with the APS recommendation. Payment is due on the day of consultation, and I accept credit card or direct bank transfer. Initial sessions for couples therapy are charged at $350 to cover intake assessment, with subsequent sessions at the usual rate of $280 per 50 minutes.

Rebates & NDIS

Clients with a valid referral under a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP are currently able to access Medicare rebates of $136.35 per session. Some clients may be able to access rebates through their private health insurer, however please note that you cannot claim rebates through Medicare and private health for the same session. I am not a registered NDIS provider, however I am able to see clients at my standard fee who have a Self Managed NDIS Plan.

Late Cancellation Fees

Clients cancelling with less than 48 hours notice are charged 50% of the session fee, and within 24 hours the cancellation fee is 100%. Notice given must be within business days. Cancellation fees are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

Assessments, Reports and Other Funders

I do not provide once-off assessments, medico-legal assessments/reports or see clients under WorkCover.
